This is the kind of fishing where tackle and anglers are regularly put to the test. Picture yourself popping for GTs, when suddenly a vw sized hole is left in the water where your popper used to be, your rod loads as you set the hook and your line crackles off the spool even with 15kg of drag on; your arms strain from the pure strength of the local inhabitant you’ve just hooked as it heads back to the ledge it just swam out from; you are now pitted in an epic battle with a fish that most anglers only ever read about.

Aligned with your choices, our experienced Guides are there every step of the way making sure all your Safari requirements are met. from tackle preparation and coaching, right through to landing and photographing your fish. Our Executive Chef will see to it that your time off the water is just as well catered for as on it. 

Your 3 Day Executive Safari includes 3 fantastic full days fishing and operate on a private charter basis for a maximum of 3 anglers.

Your Executive Safari steps off from the port of Lucinda situated at the southern end of Hinchinbrook Island approximately 3 hours South of Cairns. You will explore the lesser-travelled pristine outer reef systems, as well as the inshore areas surrounding Hinchinbrook Island, the Palm Island group and Lucinda. The fish are big and brash and the action is hot.

Lucinda is our base of operations, the waterfront executive residence is self contained and air-conditioned. Situated at the southern end of the picturesque Hinchinbrook Channel. The residence provides an excellent point of disembarkment, with its own private pontoon.

As we steam for the outer reefs each morning with Hinchinbrook Island disappearing behind us, you will truly believe you are in the middle of nowhere.

How our executive catering works:

Upon confirming your booking you will be sent your tantalising menu bursting with flavour sensations. All you are required to do is choose from the myriad of options your desired meals suit the duration of your Executive Safari and advise Chef of any dietary requirements you may have. Fear not Chef will be available to advise you on any questions you may have. Once we have your meal selections at hand Chef will devise a meal plan taking you on a gastronomical journey melding your elected dishes into an indulgent foray for your palate for the duration of your Safari

Get up of a morning enjoy a chef cooked breakfast and step on to the boat moored at the pontoon, ready for an action packed days fishing and a gourmet lunch; in the afternoon step off the boat ready for nibbles and drinks out on the deck overlooking the channel and Hinchinbrook Island; before sitting down for your chef created evening 3 course meal of your choosing.

This price includes all fishing and rods/reels, accommodation, transfers from Cairns and all meals and beverages (excluding alcohol) for up to 3 anglers. 

Trip Itinerary:

Day 1 (Transfer Day)

Complimentary transfer from Cairns (before 12:00 pm) we travel to Lucinda arriving late afternoon and settle in at the Lucinda waterfront residence.

Over dinner we will discuss the fishing plan for the days to come.  

Day 2 (Full Day Fishing #1)

On the water by 6:am and steaming for the outer reefs. 

We fish right through the day using your chosen techniques targeting your trophy species.

Back at the residence by 5:00 pm

On the water by 6:am and steaming for the outer reefs.
